Baba Buntu Black Mans Lekgotla

Men have, over the years, had difficulty expressing their feelings, fears and challenges. Generally, society does not present men with adequate forums to have honest, emotional conversations about sensitive topics and the challenges of life that scare them and where, and how, they feel as though they’re coming up short as men.

Dr. Baba Buntu’s Black Man’s Lekgotla is a safe space for men to sit together and speak about some of the more taboo things that they encounter, feel and struggle with.

With more than 30 years of social entrepreneurship and youth empowerment, Dr. Buntu has learnt a lot about human behaviour, social needs and societal conflicts. He takes genuine interest in finding solutions to life’s challenges through critical thinking and resilience, which primes him as the facilitator of the conversation.
